UPDATE: Bagel graduated from social immersion training and adapted well to new situations and people. Now back with his foster family, he is more interested in human interaction.
When he is comfortable in his surroundings, Bagel is a bundle of cuteness. He loves to play with his furry foster brothers by taking long leaps off the bed to take part in a game of chase and walks in the neighborhood or park result in plenty of tail wags. When he is feeling especially affectionate, he will shower you with nose nudges, a tongue bath, or his hi-yo-silver-I’m-so-happy-to-see-you dance. Despite his shyness, he is quite smart and curious. He’s in great health, housebroken, crate trained and ready for his new life with his forever family.
His idea of a perfect fit? A kind, understanding owner that will accept him as he is yet still gently push him to open himself up to new things, perhaps with a well-adjusted, playful dog and no children under age 13. He will likely never be a cuddly lap dog and may take a while to settle in to a new home. Rest assured, though, a patient owner will be rewarded when he finally lets loose his considerable charm. If Bagel isn’t your cup of tea, a donation to help with additional training would be greatly appreciated.
