Gumbo is a sweet boy. He has the softest fur that reminds us of a rabbit. He loves to run and wrestle with his foster buddies, but will take a quick break occasionally to check in with his human and get a few quick snuggles before running back in. He is respectful of our cat and sleeps well in his crate all night.

Gumbo would do best in a home that can provide the time for basic training for his enormous, intelligent, German Shepherd brain. We can already tell that he is very much a working dog. He studies the street very closely on walks, searching for the slightest possible movement of maybe a bug, twig, or blade of grass. Nothing crosses his path without careful inspection.
