Meet Miclove, a Dachshund/Chihuahua mix currently at only 4.5 lbs. When found by his Good Samaritan, he was immediately rushed to the emergency vet due to his emaciation, raging skin infection, and sores. This poor little man hasn't had food or attention in weeks. His Blue Dog family is committed to showing him real love and helping him recover from past neglect. We are gladly accepting donations for his extensive medical care and rehabilitation.
Update: Miclove is making steady, strong progress. He now weighs 6.5 lbs. His coat is starting to shine and this weekend joined his buddies for a good old squirrel chase. Dr. Huggins feels he will make a full recovery and we hope to start vaccines and have him heart worm tested in about a week. Miclove thanks everyone who has donated and sent him gifts!
Special thanks to our dedicated veterinary friends at Emergency Pet Care of Round Rock and Premier Animal Hospital.
